Large Sur – Rocky Creek Bridge (California) • PhotoTraces

The specifics of the Large Sur coastal drive is you drive alongside the coast and see one thing fascinating so that you cease to take a few pictures and, in 5 to 10 minutes, you proceed in your approach.

However, for the featured shot, I needed to work. Whenever you shoot from the street, the Rocky Creek Bridge is sort of completely shielded by the coastal cliffs. I needed to incorporate the bridge into my composition.

I needed to climb down alongside the sting of the cliff by the dense and sharp bushes. And even from the very tip of the cliff, I couldn’t seize your complete bridge.

However, I had enjoyable, and it was price it.

The one problem with the capturing was that I didn’t have sufficient room to arrange my tripod. I needed to shoot in a monopod mode holding the tripod legs collectively.

Enhancing & Processing

It was a single RAW processing workflow.

First, I used the Crop Overlay instrument to straighten the horizon. I additionally made the composition tighter by cropping out the rocks within the foreground and the sky.

Subsequent, I used the usual Lightroom Speedy Enhancing workflow.

I began with Shark Cove preset from my Panorama  Assortment.  Then I used TOOLKIT to open up the shadows within the foreground and enhance the Distinction.
